Are we a new technology addicts?

Are we stuck to the new technologies? An interesting question but that people do not care. We are really really addicted? Now we live in a world full of technology. Mobile, computers, plays, IPods, MP3...
In my opinin I think that we are addicted, but addicted what happens is that new technologies have already been made everyday in the day. Well personally I think we are addicted to some examples: When someone loses mobile or he wants to change her condition, That person is desperate.
I think in general we are addicted to the new technologies, from the smallest to largest. The kids already have Nintendo, PSP... Then we begin to have phones, computers...
In conclusion, clearly I think that we are addicted to new technologies. As far as I'm concerned that this society goes increasingly towards a society quaternary of new technologies.
